2nd Annual Outage Management Forum for Distribution System Operators

Why this Event now

The number of power outages is rising in Europe and is expected to rise even more due to aging components in networks, third party damage, extreme weather events and increased integration of renewable energy. Our society is more and more dependent on a reliable electricity supply which is putting even more pressure on the network operators to perform well.

At the same time, the utility sector is becoming very competitive and the network operators need to have top performance to avoid reputational damage and consequently losing customers. According to regulations in many EU states, the network operators also have to pay a penalty per each minute lost by the customer. Utilities are faced with all these challenges and that is why this conference is so pertinent for Distribution System Operators.
